Lab-quality results without the lab cost.

A single saliva cortisol test at a lab costs anywhere from $90 to $440, depending on whether it's one sample or a multi-point panel — and either way, it only shows you one day. Lume tracks your rhythm continuously, for less than the cost of a single lab visit.

$400 for everything
$90–$150 for a single saliva sample
$170–$440 for a 4-point diurnal panel
$680–$1,760+ / month to repeat the panel weekly

What members of Lume’s early access programs are saying:

“This was honestly the last thing I was going to try... I tear up every time I even think about that. Having energy all day like that is such a huge benefit, and it's given me the bandwidth to take a breath and make better choices. This is the thing that changes everything.”

Jen

FINDING STEADY ENERGY

“I was desperate... I'd hit my health rock bottom, and I really wanted to find a natural way to feel better. Now I'm actually able to listen to my body more; it's like my body is more loud about what it responds to. It feels like I'm taking my power back.”

Amanda

RISING FROM ROCK BOTTOM

“The personal attention is incredibly wonderful... it's gotten me to do something I don't think I ever would have done without it. It's given me hope, and it's changed my energy during the day tremendously, even on days when I haven't slept well.”

Fran

FEELING MORE ENERGETIC

“I saw my scores improving over time with the fast feedback loop I get every day. I feel like I'm engaging in the world, in a way I didn't before... I feel like I'm part of the world again.”

Nick

DRIVING GROWTH WITH DATA

“I absolutely gained back hours of my life every day. It was life-changing... it's hard to say that to my closest friends, but they believe me because they watch, they observe. I was spending 27% less time awake in bed on days I got more light... that's a no-brainer, it's impossible for that to be a placebo.”

Questions, answered.

What is my cortisol rhythm, and why does it matter?

Cortisol is your body's main stress hormone, but it also plays an important role in your circadian health. It shapes your energy, focus, sleep, and mood throughout the day. When its rhythm is off, you can feel “flat" or “off” because your body's chemistry is out of balance.

Hours aren't the whole story. Cortisol should rise in the morning and fall at night. When that pattern shifts, sleep doesn't restore our energy in the same way.

Yes. Elevated cortisol changes how your body regulates appetite, stores fat, and metabolizes glucose. That's partly why it can  feel that your weight is  stuck when you are doing all the right things.

Struggling to wake up. Waking at 3am and not getting back to sleep. Feeling "tired but wired." Afternoon energy crashes. Weight that won't budge. Or just not feeling like yourself. Everyone's pattern is different, which is why seeing your own matters.

Your circadian rhythm is your body's internal ~24-hour clock. It governs many of your body's processes including when hormones like cortisol rise and fall, sleep, energy, and metabolism, which is why tracking it can reveal so much about why your days feel the way they do.

No. Most wearables estimate "stress" from heart rate and compare you with population averages. Lume is built around cortisol itself, and a few of your own saliva samples calibrate it, so what you see is your rhythm, not an average. It adds to the wearable you already have instead of replacing it. Next, we're building toward reading cortisol directly from sweat, the same direct approach a continuous glucose monitor takes, without the needle.

Yes, and the field is moving fast. Sweat carries hormones like cortisol, and research groups, including scientists on our team, have built sensors that detect them without blood draws or lab visits. Lume's first product estimates your cortisol rhythm from wearable signals, calibrated to gold standard cortisol measurement from your saliva samples, while our lab develops sensors that read cortisol directly from sweat.

A typical blood or saliva test gives you one data point. Lume shows the pattern: how cortisol moves across your whole day, not a single reading. And that's where most of the important information lives.
